General terms and conditions

By using the site of Polis Publishing Ltd. and by ordering our books, you agree to the terms and conditions postulated below. They treat your relationship as users of the site with “Polis Publishers” Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Publishing House), registered in Sofia, 37 Parchevich Str., Ent. B.

By using the site’s technical capabilities, you enter a distance-purchase contract under the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act by prepaying the purchased goods or paying them at the time of delivery.

The main features of the goods are given in detail on the presentation page of each product.

Registration

No registration is required to become a site user.

By completing the purchase order form, you do NOT become a registered user. It is only necessary to complete the current order and after the successful delivery of the titles ordered by you, your data will be deleted within 24 hours.

Cancellation policy for a customer order and refund

If within 24 hours after receiving the ordered goods, you find a printing defect or a damaged copy of the book, the Publishing House will replace it with a new one or will refund the amount paid for the goods according to Art. 55 of the CPA within 7 days from the date you have exercised your right of withdrawal as a consumer. The shipping and other costs of delivery and returning the goods are at the expense of the Publishing House. If the user discovers inconsistency of the book copy with the main features stated on the site (author, title and ISBN of the book), the Publishing House will recover the amount paid by the user, including the shipping costs of the goods in accordance with Art. 59, para. 3 of the CPA within 7 days of delivery of the goods.

In accordance with the Bulgarian law (Article 54 of the CPA), the client may, within 14 days, cancel the order, and the Publishing House will return only the value of the returned product as it was at the moment of purchase. The cancelation of the order shall be made via written notice to the Publishing House. The value of the cancelled order is paid by the client to the customer’s account as soon as the goods have been received at the Publishing House, by courier or by post. Returned goods are only accepted if they are in a suitable commercial form. The return period is no more than 14 business days from the date of the order’s cancellation. The returning the purchased goods is at the expense of the buyer.
